USB Audio Firmware Engineer

Areas of Responsibility:
• Work closely with design team to implement firmware of ESS USB Audio products.
• Work closely with FAEs to provide immediate support.

Required Skills:
• Solid C/C++ coding abilities.
• Proven excellence in firmware focusing on USB protocols, USB Audio is a plus.
• Experience with MCUs, peripherals, features, and development environments.
• Experience with Audio DSP fundamentals is a plus.
• Strong debugging/trouble-shooting skills of embedded systems
• Experience with real time debugging tools (software and hardware)
• Excellent judgment, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of interfaces: I2S, I2C, UART, SPI, USB
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with customers, internal engineering, and marketing teams.
