SUMMER STUDENT EMPLOYMENT
Central Okanagan Public Schools (School District No. 23) is inviting applications from full time university or college students for summer employment.
Position Description:
Students are employed for the period Monday, May 3 to Friday September 3, 2021 within the Operations Department performing a variety of labouring duties:
• Grounds maintenance at our 45 facilities
• General labour, grass cutting, weeding, sweep, rake
• Assist trade journeymen in a labouring capacity
• Operate small equipment and hand tools
Hours of work are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The rate of pay is currently $20.31 per hour.
Qualifications:
• Physically fit to perform labouring duties
• Valid BC driver’s license (Class 5 or 7)
• Previous labor work experience is considered an asset
