About us:
The Penticton Seniors’ Drop-In Society is a non-profit organization committed to improving the well being of people over 50 in Penticton and area. With nearly 1000 members, the society operates a busy 10,000 square foot facility offering a variety of programs and activities which support health, fitness and continued learning. The Centre is one of the largest in the Province and growing.
The position:
We are seeking the services of an experienced office manager who can provide administrative, managerial, operational and support services in a fast-paced and changing environment. Reporting to the Society’s President and Board of Directors, this is a full-time position.
About You:
You are an exceptionally organized “people person” with well developed administrative, clerical, and inter-personal skills. As the only employee and the “go to” person in a busy seniors’ centre operated solely by volunteers, you must demonstrate the ability to carry out a broad range of office, administrative, clerical and accounting tasks on a daily basis.
You must have a minimum of five years office experience in a similar position, possess good computer skills and be well organized in achieving defined organizational goals.
