Join the momentum. We are seeking a Coordinator to join our Regional Marketing team. MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Positioning the firm for success, our Marketing team supports the growth, business-generating efforts and goals of MNP. We develop and deliver creative and strategic programs that translate the firm’s objectives into market-appropriate media, messages and methodologies. We build and protect our brand in new and existing markets, as well as create and sustain market advantage in all service line, industry and specialty groups.

Performance Expectations

Responsible for the coordination, tactical execution, tracking and day-to-day administration of the regional marketing campaigns, strategies and initiatives
Support the region in all areas of marketing including events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, trade shows, local promotions, community programs, business development presentations, signage, brochures, website and social media
Utilize appropriate marketing disciplines and tools to achieve the desired position of the MNP brand (ex: one-on-one communication, paid advertising, use of collateral materials, direct marketing, publicity, event marketing, networking, sponsorship/donations, web-based media, etc.
Produce and format documents such as proposals, presentation, communication briefs, correspondence and reports
Provide regular tracking and administration of Firm processes
Assist in reporting on set regional marketing budgets
Gather and compile market research for planning purposes
Maintain marketing materials and collateral including promotional items, brochures and tradeshow equipment
Perform administrative duties specific to the marketing department such as updating and maintaining databases, client lists and preparing materials for distribution to clients
Organize client prospect programs in conjunction with other internal resources and other internal marketing-related initiatives
Create and send industry specific newsletters to clients and business partners
Work along side HC to build internal brand and organizational culture in conjunction with Social Committee
Work alongside leadership with the execution of existing marketing plans – track & report the performance of all marketing initiatives leading to business development
Conduct other projects and ad-hoc activities as directed by the Regional Marketing Manager.
Create Event plans for internal & external events – Execute events with minimal supervision
Social Media champion for region – content & posting assistance
Manage Internal event calendar – event registrations and targeted participants
Thorough, organized, creative, enthusiastic, optimistic, extroverted and able to manage multiple projects
Credentials

Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration specializing in marketing, communications, project management, English, journalism or related discipline
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a marketing role and a demonstrated understanding of the marketing process, project coordination and budgeting processes is preferred
Event Management experience and certification considered an asset
Experience in a corporate writing environment considered an asset
Experience working in a Professional Services environment considered an asset
Possess strong presentation skills
Proven web-based research skills
Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
A valid driver’s license is necessary as travel will be required
