Spearhead the YMCA of Okanagan?s social media strategy
Source and write inspirational stories, media releases and content showcasing the Y?s impact in our community ? help us amplify our voice as a cause-driven charity
Take a lead role in the development and launch of a new Association website including content development and project management support
Collaborate with divisional leaders and marketing team to create innovative marketing campaigns
Support our divisions in their growth and recovery during and after the effects of the current global pandemic
Analyze results and evaluate campaign effectiveness
Assist with execution of recruitment and fund development campaigns
Support the establishment of organizational culture through highly effective internal communications
Work with marketing team to enhance inbound marketing efforts
Support with the planning and execution of events (COVID-19 permitted)

We'd love to hear from people with:

A post secondary degree in marketing, communications, public relations or similar discipline (post-graduate degree an asset)
A minimum of 3 years of progressive related work experience
Web development experience (HTML, CSS, SEO and use of Drupal systems) and asset
Experience with social media strategy and execution
An exceptional ability to work effectively with people as a team member and a consensus builder
Superior communications skills
Project management experience an asset
Highly effective tactical execution in a changeable environment and in the face of many competing priorities
A demonstrated belief in the power of analytics, with a results-oriented mind set
Proven stakeholder relations experience ? internal managers and staff and media
A values-based mindset and strong belief in the mission of the YMCA

Schedule: Full-time term position
