MABEL LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK | 2023 SEASON
POSITION: PARK OPERATOR (PART-TIME 20-25 HRS/WK)
EXPERIENCE: NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
INCLUDES: FULL SERVICED CAMPSITE including POWER, SEWER, WATER, WIFI,
LAUNDRY FACILITY and CANADA/USA LANDLINE CALLS.
CONTRACT: $19-$20 HR
START & END DATES ARE NEGOTIABLE
This position is suitable for mature, single person. You must provide your own RV. You will have scheduled days off per week for your personal commitments. We do not accept requests for additional time off as this is a seasonal job. Wages are paid biweekly. Outdoor pets are not permitted.
You need to be a fast learner and reasonably quick on your feet as this is a very organized, busy shift requiring good time management. It requires accurate reading & writing, attention to details, clear communication, willingness to follow instructions, and work well without supervision. Being a team player is integral! You must also have the physical ability to walk on uneven surfaces, plus bend, lift and carry up to 30 lbs. Applicants must have a positive and happy disposition, and love working in the outdoors.

CAMPER REGISTRATIONS / CHECK-INS / CHECK-OUTS
WOOD SALES AND/OR DELIVERY
WASHROOM MAINTENANCE
GARBAGE MAINTENANCE
CAMPSITE CLEANING & MAINTENANCES
PARK MAINTENANCE
PARK SECURITY
OPERATION OF PARK VEHICLES
ALL STAFF are required to comply with all BC PARK ACTS and all KALOYA CONTRACTING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
A valid class 5 driver’s license is required, and you must pass RCMP Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector checks and Driver Factor reports. Fees for RCMP checks are reimbursed providing you fulfill your contract to the end of the term.
