LEAD SALES ASSOCIATE
At Erhard's Orthopedics our shoe retail is continuously growing. Therefore we are looking for a lead sales associate.
What we expect:
You know that in store customer experience is the most important thing. You easily connect with people of all age groups. You have a strong desire to help people and are patient and respectful of customers with disabilities and the elderly. You will have to learn all about the merchandise and teach your team on the products.
You adapt easy to different kinds of customers and resolve issues with a smile. It will be your responsibility to teach other to do the same .
Leading a small team you will be expected to drive sales to maximize profits. Your performance will be measured by achieving personal goals and productivity goals.
You will assume leadership and managerial responsibilities when the store owner is absent or in-disposable from his work.
Responsibilities:
• Inspire and lead your small team to drive sales and deliver a great customer experience.
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered. Teaming up with your co workers to provide excellent sales service, in store and on the phone.
• Delivering sales, merchandising, visual and operational expectations, creative ideas on changing store displays.
• Assist with social media publications and advertising
• Maintaining personal and productivity goals
• Uphold the quality and productivity in every aspect of the store
• Act as a partner between the customers, co-workers and the management
• Ability to learn and share expertise of products
• Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment
• Develops and maintains product knowledge
• Adjustment to individual customer needs quickly
• POS system maintenance
• Storage organization
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of retail experience
• Confident and comfortable to engage with customers and deliver a great customer experience
• Patient with the elderly and disabled
• Motivated to achieve great results because of enthusiasm for the job
• POS experience
• Initiates completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
• Good basic Excel and Word knowledge
• Excellent Phone manners
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to touch a persons feet while assisting to put on shoes
