Our firm continues to grow, so we are currently searching for a Hybrid Paralegal to join our Kelowna office.

The ideal candidate will have:

• The ability to creatively solve problems, make decisions, facilitate and manage deadlines

• A great attitude with the willingness to learn
• The ability to work both independently and within a team
• The availability to work thirty-five (35) hours per week Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
• Draft correspondence
• Manage calendars, BF system and limitation dates
• Schedule and prepare for XFD’s, court hearings, mediations, trials
• Draft and file pleadings and other BC Supreme Court documents
• Conduct initial witness interviews
• Review clinical records and draft summaries

Qualifications:
• A graduate from a recognized Legal Administration Assistant and or Paralegal program
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience, preferably in civil litigation and insurance defence
• Exceptional technical skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PClaw and iManage
