Full Time Administrative Assistant
Experienced Office Administrative Assistant needed for local Tree Service company in Kelowna, BC. This position is seasonal full time - 32 - 40 hours / week weekdays until mid-November. Location is behind Kelowna airport. We have a home based office, so finding the right person is extremely important to us.
We are looking to hire someone with the following skills:
strong telephone, written and oral English communication skills
strong computer skills, especially MS Office and QuickBooks Online or willingness to learn
excellent people skills with a positive, professional, can-do attitude
punctual, trustworthy and reliable
able to take instruction from owners and office manager
ability to re-task for a phone call and then resume original task easily
great attention to detail and organization
good to excellent typing skills
knowledge of Kelowna and surrounding areas is a must
knowledge of trees and landscaping is an asset but not necessary
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
data entry in QuickBooks Online and MS Outlook
answering phones professionally and efficiently
making appointments and organizing them based on location
checking and answering emails
customer contact including limited collections
other administrative duties as directed by our office manager and owners
