Full Time - Landscape Maintenance

Landscape Maintenance Crew Member – Kelowna Cemetery

Sierra Landscaping Ltd. has one job opening in its operations and maintenance crew at the Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery.

This is a full time, seasonal position from April 1st to October 31st.
A valid BC Drivers License is required.

The successful candidate must be extremely reliable and punctual as well as neat in their appearance and respectful in their conduct as the work will be on an active cemetery property.

The following duties will need to be performed safely on a regular basis:
- Operate a 72” ride on mower (flat and some slopped terrain)
- Operate a 21" push mower
- Trim around trees, fences etc. with a gasoline powered weed whacker
- Clean off grave markers with a backpack blower
- Light landscaping duties as directed by the caretaker using a rake and shovel

This position involves repetitive tasks including bending, crouching, reaching, some heavy lifting and plenty of walking.
40 hours per week, no work on Sundays or Holidays. Days off will be consecutive.

Wage range is $18 to $20 per hour, depending on experience.
