Foot Care Nurse


Our business provides nursing foot care to care facilities and clients throughout the BC interior. We are growing rapidly and require an exceptional individual to join our team! We are looking for a strong team player who understands how pivotal client satisfaction is to a service based organization and possess a positive and easy going demeanor suited to interacting with a variety of people and situations.
Under the direction of the District Manager, the Foot Care Nurse is a nursing professional who works within the community, providing foot care for clients in their homes. The Foot Care Nurse is a client centered professional who provides education and care with an emphasis on achieving optimal foot health, manages a client base, records and keeps up to date files, and communicates regularly with co-workers and management.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Follow up with potential clients as soon as contact information is received
-Call and book appointments, obtain addresses
-Obtain relevant information: Consent for services forms; billing information
-Punctual arrival to appointments
-Be prepared with kit, professional clothing, etc.
-Assessment and Foot Care performed
-Clean-up of client and self – lists included in employee package
-Charting completed in a timely manner, with legible writing/notations
-Book next appointment, issue receipts, collecting money in cash, cheque, or Square form as needed

Requirements:
-Must hold current registration as an LPN/RN
-Must hold current Foot Care Certification
-Must be available Monday-Friday (9-5)
-Must be organized, have an eye for detail and is self-motivated to work independently
-Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
-Knowledge and/or experience of Office based computer programs (Excel, Word)

Candidate must also be:
-Confident and professional
-Well-organized, resourceful, and able to multi-task
-Have excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
-Autonomous
This is a permanent part/full time position, leading to full time as we grow. (Monday-Friday, 24+ hrs per week, times to be determined) This position will commence immediately, once the right applicant has been identified.
