Job Summary:
The Resort Support Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to all areas of the small boutique resort year-round. This includes assisting with day-to-day operations, helping guests with their needs, providing administrative support, overseeing property-related tasks, managing social media platforms, and assisting with special projects as needed. The Resort Support Specialist will work closely with all resort departments to ensure smooth operations and a high level of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support for all areas of the small boutique resort, including assisting with daily operations, guest services, housekeeping, and administrative tasks.
• Oversee property-related tasks, including reservations, coordinating maintenance projects, conducting property inspections, and facilitating repairs and upgrades as needed.
• Administer the long-term rental of units during the winter off-season, including tenant communication, reservation management, and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
• Maintain and engage with our social media platforms to connect with guests and promote the resort's offerings.
• Assist with special projects, such as planning and executing events, creating marketing materials, and managing inventory.
• Communicate effectively with all resort departments to ensure smooth operations and a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Adhere to all resort policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office and reservation software an asset
• Knowledge in social media an asset
• Knowledge in property management an asset
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
