CedarCreek Estate Winery is one of the first 8 pioneering wineries of BC and released its first wines in 1987. Today, we look proudly towards the future to further promote our region and after three decades of building our wine’s reputation, we’re constructing a winery to match it. We’re looking for dedicated and passionate employees to join our team and help us bring the CedarCreek wine country experience to a whole new level.

Home Block Restaurant:
Our Home Block Restaurant at CedarCreek Estate Winery is nearing it's debut and we can't wait to build an energetic and passionate team to execute the opening in May! Between the views, the details, and people, it will have you feeling like home in no time. Paired with our stunning wines, our food at Home Block will be based on timeless cooking methods and techniques that have been around for centuries; simple, bold, punchy and uncomplicated. Day in the life:
This culinary position requires a high level of culinary skills and speed in the kitchen. Our Demi Chef de Partie’s have a positive and professional attitude, a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the culinary arts, and the ability to work effectively in team environments.

Want to know more? You will…
• Work cooperatively under the direction of the senior Chefs on all matters of the kitchen
• Execute dishes to the exact standards as set by Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef
• Ensure all food products are properly received and stored, including proper labeling and rotation of all food ingredients in the coolers, freezers and dry storage

Must haves:
• 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Culinary Diploma is an asset
• Previous experience at a Relais & Chateaux Property or winery property considered an asset
• Strong cooking techniques and ingredient knowledge
• A proven understanding of and a sincere interest in developing food and wine pairing knowledge
• Current “Food Safe” certification (or equivalent)
