The Patio Restaurant at Lake Breeze Vineyards in Naramata, BC, is now accepting resumes for two positions, a seasoned Line Cook (1st Cook) and a Prep Cook (Commis).
Applicants for the 1st Cook position should have strong skills in the following: -Professional cooking in all positions on and off the line, while applying classic and modern cooking techniques and using fresh, quality ingredients.
-Communication and team motivation.
-Food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
-Supervising and leading junior staff members.
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in related cuisine and fine dining.

Applicants for the Prep Cook position should be positively motivated individuals with a serious interest in food and professional cooking. Some related experience and knife skills would be an asset.

Wages at Lake Breeze are based on experience, negotiable, and always above the average. Reliable transportation is a must.

It is an exciting time to be part of the culinary team at Lake Breeze as we introduce our new Farmstead project. This year we will be growing an abundance of our own vegetables, fruits, herbs, greens and even some livestock to incorporate into our menus. I am not going to use the saying that we have all heard used (and abused) for so long now, but I will say, “it just doesn’t get any more local than this”. It is going to be fun.
