Care-aid position

Care-aid position available, No experience necessary, full training provided.
Perfect for nursing students or anyone pursuing a job in home care or health care working in KGH.
Our team is looking for somebody to join the team. The client is an adult male in his 50s with physical disabilities. He requires assistance transferring so it is a Great opportunity to learn about mechanical lifts, transfers, assessments and more.
assorted hours and schedule available. The right applicant would be friendly, positive and outgoing. Someone who is honest and trustworthy. Punctual and reliable. The client is a fun guy. He lives in his own home . A valid drivers license is mandatory as driving to errands and outings is an important part of the job (Class 5 will do!).
The applicant must be comfortable assisting with personal
care. Brushing teeth, shaving, dressing etc. ( We teach everything needed to do the job ). There are some daily activities that include help with cooking and light general household chores. Other outings may include.
Help with shopping, banking, assisting him to/from medical appointments, etc.
The applicant must be ok with a small dog.
