WESTBANK AND DISTRICT COMMUNITY RADIO SOCIETY is now hiring volunteer deejays, news and sportscasters, board operators and behind the scenes personnel.

Ages 14 to 70 welcome to apply. No experience required, but a background in radio, television, music, drama, sales, or public performing or entertaining, would be helpful.

A 25 hour broadcast training course will be provided to the successful candidate at no charge.

Must have a working cell phone and be reasonably computer literate !

WDCR is the Okanagan's first community radio station, now in our 6th year of operation. We broadcast to 75 countries around the world, and have a terrestrial presence, as well. Our total audience is 175,000 listeners.

This is a rare opportunity to learn the radio business from caring people and management with over 30 years of on the air experience.

Please bring a one page resume, plus two references. No demo tape required, but you must be reliable and your personal life must be free of drama and or choas ? No drunks or illegal drug users need apply.
