PGA of BC honours local pros

The 2024 PGA of BC award winners were recently announced, and two Vernonites were honoured.
Adam Blair with Vernon Golf & Country Club was awarded the Cec Ferguson Executive Professional of the Year, and Myles Johnson with the same club was named the Alvie Thompson Teacher of the Year.
The award ceremony took place Oct. 29 at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond.
One more winner hailed from the Okanagan. Rob Tadey with the Fairview Mountain Golf Club in Oliver was awarded the Dick Munn Golf Professional of the Year.
The PGA of BC aims to promote the enjoyment of golf while advancing the sport and business to benefit members and the community.
