Time to get your pup all dressed up.

Unleashed Brewing Co. is bringing back its annual Halloween Spooktacular Dog Parade this Sunday afternoon.

The business, which bills itself as Kelowna’s premier dog-friendly brewery, is inviting people to put their dogs in a costumes and take part in the third annual canine carnival. More than 150 dogs came out to last year’s event.

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring back the Spooktacular Dog Parade for its third year and make it an even bigger success,” Unleashed Brewing co-owner Shantel Hordos said. “Our mission is to create a fun and memorable experience for our furry friends and their humans, all while supporting a great cause.

“We invite everyone to join us for this fantastic event and help us make it an unforgettable day for dogs and dog lovers alike.”

Those whose dogs are taking part in the parade can give a donation if they want, and all proceeds will go to Paws it Forward, a Kelowna-based charitable organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs from around the world who have suffered neglect, abandonment or abuse.

New this year will be a panel of judges that will evaluate the creativity and spookiness of the canine costumes. Unleashed Brewing will also have dedicated photographers and videographers capturing the highlights of the parade.
