CHBA-CO boss moving on
The Central Okanagan chapter of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association is looking for a new executive director.
The organization announced on social media last week that Daniel Winer has resigned to take on a new challenge. His last day was Friday.
“Dan is an exceptional leader who helped grow our team and took CHBA-CO to new heights,” board president Krista Paine wrote in a social media post. “Over the last four-plus years, we’ve grown our staff, created new strategic partnerships, enhanced our education and events, and increased our advocacy efforts in service of members throughout the central Okanagan.
“As a board, we are proud of all that has been accomplished during Dan’s tenure and for all that is yet to come for our association.”
Cassidy deVeer, who had been a board director, resigned from that role to assume the position of interim executive director while the organization searches for a permanent replacement. DeVeer has also served as president of both the Central Okanagan and provincial chapters of the CHBA.
