Okanagan Edge and Kelowna Chamber of Commerce are partnering to showcase some of the region’s most exciting entrepreneurs through the “Top 40 Over 40” program.
Sponsored by BDO, the “Top 40 Over 40” recognizes high-achieving professionals in our community and showcases their accomplishments. This marks the ninth year the chamber has conducted a “Top 40” showcase. Honourees will be featured throughout the year on Okanagan Edge.

Magda Kapp has 30 years of experience in marketing, public relations, community development and business development, in both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors.
She is a natural connector. Through her passion and hard work, she has brought together companies, charities and individuals to make a difference for the community.
Kapp is currently the manager of business development and marketing at Pushor Mitchell, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. She says the organization is a perfect fit because one of its key tenets is giving back to community. She lives by the philosophy that life is all about relationships—building them, but most importantly maintaining them. Kapp believes “we all need to give back, in whatever way we can. It is a vital part of being human, and it feels good.”
Kapp lives on a small acreage with her husband, Carey, golden retriever, Chase, and ginger cat Willow. She feels lucky to be living and working in the beautiful Okanagan Valley.
