A Kelowna hotel employee has received a prestigious honour from her large corporation.

Zoey Dryden, who is the operations manager at Kelowna’s Four Points by Sheraton, has been named the top operations manager in her company across Canada and the U.S.

“Marriott owns the Sheraton brand and operates hundreds of hotels across North America,” Four Points by Sheraton Joey Guyitt said in a press release. “Zoey was selected from a huge pool of candidates. We have always known her work was exemplary, so we are thrilled for her. She and many just like her are why we have been able to achieve the consistent success we have in this market.”

The hotel is undergoing a 55-room and meeting space expansion that is scheduled to be completed in early 2024. Argus Properties owns the hotel and says it is one of the Okanagan’s busiest.

“The Four Points by Sheraton is the leading hotel in our market segment throughout the Interior of British Columbia,” Argus hospitality director Rudolf Heider says. “From its very first day the Four Points by Sheraton has exceeded expectations in what is one of Canada’s most competitive hospitality markets.

“This sector employs thousands of people in the Okanagan and plays a huge role in the overall economic strength of the region. Zoey is a great example of how much impact one individual can have. We are very proud of her.”
