Okanagan Edge and Kelowna Chamber of Commerce are partnering to showcase some of the region’s most exciting entrepreneurs through the “Top 40 Over 40” program.
Sponsored by BDO, the “Top 40 Over 40” recognizes high-achieving professionals in our community and showcases their accomplishments. This marks the ninth year the chamber has conducted a “Top 40” showcase. Honourees will be featured throughout the year on Okanagan Edge.

Shauna Harper is chief operating officer of WeBC, which is based in Kelowna.
As a federally funded, not-for-profit organization,WeBC provides thousands of women entrepreneurs across B.C. with business loans, expertise, training, resources and peer support to help their businesses grow and thrive each year.
Harper is an impact-driven leader, community champion, speaker, mentor and connector in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. She is a nationally recognized advocate for female entrepreneurs, gender equity and a champion for increased access to services, training, support and funding.
Prior to coming to WeBC, Harper was an entrepreneur for 22 years. She owned a manufacturing company that created and sold inspirational glass-stone magnets globally, and a marketing and communications company that helped small businesses and non-profit organizations by offering marketing strategies, project management, team support and marketing training.
