Okanagan Edge and Kelowna Chamber of Commerce are partnering to showcase some of the region’s most exciting entrepreneurs through the “Top 40 Over 40” program.
Sponsored by BDO, the “Top 40 Over 40” recognizes high-achieving professionals in our community and showcases their accomplishments. This marks the ninth year the chamber has conducted a “Top 40” showcase. Honourees will be featured throughout the year on Okanagan Edge.

Shandi Schwartz is passionate about shoes and people, and loves that she gets to combine those two worlds into her magical shoe store, Strut Footwear & Apparel.
Schwartz spent more than 20 years in education as a high school teacher and counsellor, which was great training for leading a staff of eight to be its very best. Together they have created the warm and wonderful place called Strut, where relationships are the foundation of their success.
Schwartz remains committed to her educational roots and to the community by supporting the Central Okanagan Bursary and Scholarship Society, as well as several other not-for-profit organizations.
Schwartz likes to leave people one very important piece of advice: If you give a girl the right pair of shoes, she can change the world!
