Downtown Kelowna Association is looking for volunteers who are interested in joining its board of directors.
The organization’s nomination window is now open, and it is looking for potential directors for all positions on the board for the 2023-25 term.
Nominees for the board will have to consent to the nomination, be willing to serve a two-year term, attend monthly meetings from 5-7 p.m., and have an active interest in downtown Kelowna. They must also be a property owner, tenant or employee of class 5 light industry or class 6 business “other” properties within the Downtown Kelowna business improvement association boundary.
The nomination deadline is this Friday (April 28) at 4 p.m. Nomination forms can be picked up from the DKA office, emailed upon request or downloaded from its website here.
Elections will begin on May 12 by electronic ballot, and those elected will be announced at DKA’s annual general meeting on Wednesday, June 7.
