Lawson Lundell LLP added five new partners on the second last day of 2022, and one of them is based in Kelowna.

Max Walker is the law firm’s new Kelowna partner. He is a member of the tax group and advises clients on income and sales taxation matters arising in connection with private equity funds.

Walker also works on tax compliance issues affecting various types of commercial and non-commercial organizations, pension fund investment taxation and structuring, personal tax and estate planning, and B.C. property transfer tax and sales tax issues.

Walker joined Lawson Lundell as a summer student in 2014 and returned to the firm in November 2015 to complete his articles.
