Downtown Kelowna Association will hold its annual Winter Street Market & Light Up on Saturday, Dec. 3.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Stuart Park. Water Street will be closed between Doyle and Queensway roundabouts, and instead lined with artisan and market vendors. Live entertainment and free family activities will also be part of the day’s celebrations.
Seasonal adult beverages and hot chocolate will be available for those who attend the market. The hot chocolate will be available for a minimum $5 donation, with proceeds going to Central Okanagan Food Bank.
The main entertainment stage will be in Stuart Park, and Santa Claus will be making a guest appearance as well. Pre-booked photo appointments are full, but walkups will be welcome.
The annual lighting of the Christmas tree will be at 4:45 p.m.
