Orbis brings big fun to you

Some companies can say they take sports and games to the next level, but Orbis Sports has the ability to go even higher than that.

That is because the company, which is new to the Okanagan, offers one of the largest inflatable slides in North America as part of its sports and games lineup. The slide is 40 feet wide, 60 feet tall and 200 feet long, which makes for a thrilling ride to the ground.

No, Orbis Sports does not have just bubble suits, which are mighty entertaining in their own right. The company starts with bubble suits and then offers so much more for businesses, youth groups, birthday parties, schools, churches—or just about anyone—to have a rip-roaring good time.

The best part about Orbis Sports is it comes to wherever you are in the Thompson Okanagan region, whether that’s indoors or outdoors.

“We play in your backyard. We play in your school park. We play in your church gym,” owner Kyle James says. “You let us know, and we’re there. It’s super fun stuff.”

In addition to bubble suits and one of North America’s largest inflatable slides, Orbis Sports offers plenty more activities and games to make your next event an unforgettable one. That includes archery tag and laser tag as game rentals, and its lineup of hosted game events includes water bubbles, bowling bubbles, archery tag, laser tag, zombie walks—complete with actors serving as zombies. It will also host bubble ball sports, archery tag and laser tag if you require a little more organization.

In other words, if you’re getting ready to plan a holiday party for your company or small business, or need a team building event now that you’re back in the office, Orbis Sports has you covered.

And if you’re wondering how archery tag works, it’s probably what you think.

“It’s like dodgeball, but instead of throwing the ball, you shoot,” James says with a laugh. “It’s the exact same game, but you’ve got bunkers and real arrows. Well, they’ve got Nerf ends on them.”

And just because Orbis Sports is new to the Okanagan does not mean it is new to the sports and play games industry. It has been serving the Edmonton area for almost a decade, and is ready to bring the fun and games to the Okanagan.

“It’s a great area to do this, because Okanagan region people are active,” James says. “All our stuff is highly active. Our laser tag is basically video games in a laser tag system. So indoor, outdoor, night or daytime … it’s all good to go.”
