Kelowna’s GreenStep Solutions continues to shine when it comes to sustainability.

The business, which helps small and medium-sized businesses measure and improve their own sustainability performances, has been honoured with a Best For The World designation for the fourth year in a row. Best For The World singles out the top B Corps businesses, which are for-profit enterprises that receive the designation for their social and environmental performances.

Best For The World awards are handed out by B Lab, a non-profit organization that certifies for-profit businesses.

GreenStep Solutions became a certified B Corp business in 2015 and has been received Best For The World designation ever since. This year the company earned the honour because it continues to help organizations measure and reduce carbon, energy consumption and waste, provide less toxic alternatives to the market, and educate businesses and citizens about environmental problems and how to solve them.

“Garnering this recognition beside the likes of Patagonia Works, Dr. Bronner’s, and our friends at Summerhill Pyramid Winery, is an incredible achievement,” GreenStep founder and CEO Angela Nagy said in a press release.

“Our purpose is to save the world through business, by helping small and medium-sized enterprises measure and improve their sustainability performance. Earning this designation again in 2022 proves we are on the right path and continue to make a necessary impact.”
