Traditionally, Tommy Gun’s has been all about hair grooming.

But now the well-known barbershop also carries hair care products by some of the biggest names in the business, revamping its total retail offerings with a large range of new haircare products.

Products by the likes of Paul Mitchell, Redken, AG Hair, Matrix, Moroccan Oil, Loma, Pureology and Olaplex are now available at Tommy Gun’s shop in the Orchard Park Shopping Centre location in Kelowna, and the shop  is offering a special deal June through August—buy one and get one 50% off on products from participating brands.

“We are all about creating the ultimate barber and grooming experience here at Tommy Gun’s,” says corporate managing partner Keenan Fisher. “But it doesn’t end with the barbershop. Now we have all the products and tools to maintain your look at home.”

The new products will help Tommy Gun’s customers care for their hair in new and exciting ways and, with the large expansion of the hair care products it carries, it makes the business the go-to stop for everyone who wants to look good when it comes to their hair. The new product lines represent the latest in hair care technology from the top hair care companies in the world.

Tommy Gun’s is a Canadian family-owned and operated business that started in 2009 and has 75 locally operated franchises across the country. It also has locations in Australia and the U.S. In the B.C. Interior, there are barbershops in Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops and Prince George.

Known for its great grooming, Tommy Gun’s also offers many extras to make the customer feel at ease during their haircut, including a free drink to start, its signature scalp massage, and televisions to watch while the highly trained and friendly staff work on their hair as well as it’s queue system that allows customers to get in on the day they want—including the same day—rather than having to make an appointment and wait.

In addition to haircuts, styling, detailing and beard and moustache care, Tommy Gun’s also offers regular and custom shaves to give you the look you want. All services are followed by a hot towel finish.

The company prides itself on its top-notch, friendly and professional inclusive services, available to everyone, regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation.

“We are very inclusive and now we want to be the destination of everything important to haircare too,” says Fisher.

But the business’s care for the community goes beyond just the hair on customers’ heads and faces.

Tommy Gun’s has also partnered with TreeEra, a Canadian-based social venture company that supports businesses in offsetting their carbon footprint and telling their sustainability story.

With the belief that small changes over time can make a big impact, Tommy Gun’s has committed to planting one tree for every retail product purchased in-shop or online at tommyguns.com, with the goal of planting more than a billion trees.

“Making our businesses more sustainable starts with being aware of the issue at hand and understanding just how important it is to make changes—both for the businesses and the planet,” Fisher says.

“In order to have healthy communities, we need clean air, natural resources and a non-toxic environment. Tommy Gun’s hope is that by planting trees we can begin to offset our impact and ensure future generations and businesses have the natural resources available to live in an equal, if not better, way of life as current generations.”
