Brian Stephenson is the new Downtown Kelowna Association board president.

Downtown Kelowna Association welcomed its new board of directors during its annual general meeting on Wednesday.

Brian Stephenson of Pushor Mitchell is the new board president. He takes over from Rush Ihas Hardwick lawyer Yarden Gershony, who spent the last four years in the role.

Other newcomers to the board are Deville Coffee’s Jenna Kopperson, Mission Group’s Tina Thygesen and Turner Group’s Warren Turner.

Renata Mills of Festivals Kelowna is the vice-president, Grant Thornton’s Vishaal Sharma is the treasurer and Caroline Bye is the secretary.

Elections are held annually, and board members serve two-year terms.
