Organizers of Vernon’s Polson Night Market have changed location for one of two upcoming events.
This Saturday’s market had been planned in the BX, “but due to ALR rules we’ve had to move,” organizers posted on Facebook.
The market that was supposed to happen on East Vernon Road will now take place at the Halina Centre in Vernon, from 1 to 8 p.m.
There will be more than 50 vendors to browse through.
Meanwhile, an upcoming pop-up market that will take place during SilverStar Mountain Resort’s annual light up is set for Dec. 3, beginning at 3 p.m.
“This year, Silverstar is creating an amazing walk-through light experience around the village and through the trees (for snowshoers). It’s going to be magical and unlike anything they’ve done before,” the organizers wrote.
“We’re lucky enough to have been invited up to participate and feature some of our lovely vendors, so we’ll have a great selection of specially curated vendors featuring artisan products among the lights and fire pits.”
Silverstar’s website says the event will also offer local crafts and talent, gondola rides, roaming entertainers, photo opportunities and more.
