Downtown Kelowna Association is set to bring back the Winter Street Market.

The event won’t be exactly like it was when it was last held, in 2019, but there will still be plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy on Saturday, Dec. 4.

The market will take place on Water Street between the roundabouts in front of City Hall. Vendors will be set up on both sides of the street, adult and non-adult beverages will be available, and Santa will be set up in Stuart Park near Cactus Club.

There will be four access points to the fenced-in market that will be staffed to ensure there are not too many people in the area at one time.

Those wishing to sit on Santa’s lap will have to make an appointment as well to meet provincial health order requirements. That can be done here.

DKA hopes the Stuart Park ice rink will be operational, there will be an area for kids to write letters to Santa, and there will be entertainment throughout the event.
