WEC mentor program begins
Okanagan Edge Staff - May 04, 2021 - Biz Releases

If you are a female entrepreneur and are looking for a mentor, now is the time to act.

Kelowna-based Women’s Enterprise Centre is accepting applications this week for startup business owners to be matched with an experienced entrepreneur as part of its One-to-One Mentoring program.

Applications are being accepted this week only, and preference will be given to rural, Indigenous and immigrant women, but all eligible female entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply.

WEC says 95% of businesses that got a mentor are still in business five years later and 29% have hired new staff.

More information about the One-to-One Mentoring program can be found here.
