Okanagan Edge and the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce are partnering to showcase some of the region’s most exciting entrepreneurs through the “Top 40 Over 40” program.

Sponsored by BDO, the “Top 40 Over 40” recognizes high-achieving professionals in our community and showcases their accomplishments. This marks the seventh year the chamber has conducted a “Top 40” showcase. Honourees will be featured throughout the year on Okanagan Edge.

Melanie Greenough has been a small business owner for the past 20 years—in her words, rising from homeless single mom to now successful online entrepreneur.

“I have coached hundreds of women in the Okanagan to build a business, brand and bank account that they love while building a team of one hundred-plus certified coaches who are training thousands of women globally,” Greenough says.

She has recruited, trained and led teams in the thousands by developing online systems, leadership development paths, skill set training and coaching, and support. Her company raises awareness and collects donations for local food banks, and does street outreach and education.

Greenough was nominated for a 2018 YWCA Women of Distinction Award, and has been featured in Success From Home and Your Business From Home magazines.
