Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association is searching for mentors to help support the industry’s labour force.

TOTA is conducting two virtual Tourism Skills Training Programs to support displaced employees and professionals transitioning into a career in the industry, and it needs tourism operators to provide mentoring and job placements for as many as 75 course participants.

Mentors would need to be available for one hour per week over the course of eight weeks, between March 18 and June 13, either through virtual meetings or phone calls. Mentors will be asked to share career advice, support and encouragement.

More information about the program can be found here.
