Nicole, Jackson and Alexander will soon have one more member of their family.

Consider it mission accomplished for the Nooner Baby Maker campaign.

Hotel Zed offered a unique challenge earlier this year, inviting hotel guests to take advantage of their seventh annual Nooner package on Valentine’s Day; renting one of their hotel rooms for four hours in the middle of the day on Feb. 14. If a baby was conceived, the lucky couple would receive a free stay every Valentine’s Day for the next 18 years.

Kelowna couple Nicole and Alexander delivered. The pair, along with son Jackson, will be welcoming a baby into the world any day now.

“We’re absolutely thrilled for Nicole and Alex,” Hotel Zed president and CEO Mandy Farmer said in a press release. “We created the Nooner to offer a Valentine’s Day to remember, and we have a feeling this will definitely be a Valentine’s Day Nicole and Alex will never forget. We look forward to hosting them for the next 18 years!”

The Nooner package has been around for seven years at quirky Hotel Zed, which also has locations in Victoria and Tofino, but the baby-making challenge was introduced this year. It caught the attention of Saturday Night Live, TMZ and CNN—among others.

The expecting couple recently did a photoshoot at Kelowna’s Hotel Zed with Flytographer.

“This photoshoot allowed my mom guilt to just melt away,” Nicole said. “I feel like we’re finally able to share and celebrate this pregnancy the way it deserves.”
