A major Kerkhoff Construction project that will bring nearly 250 homes to the base of Knox Mountain has advanced another stage at Kelowna City Hall.

The Clifton Road Apartments development consists of four buildings that will be five storeys each. The development permit application was filed in February, and the city planners forwarded their report to council late last month.

The project will be going to a public hearing on Tuesday.

The apartments, which are technically located on Cara Glen Crescent just off Clifton Road, are on the eastern side of Knox Mountain and will consist of 238 units if it receives final approval from council.
