Landmark 7 will have its final parkade concrete pour this week.

The 23-storey tower, which is under construction in Kelowna’s Landmark District, will top off the parking part of the building on Thursday. The parkade will consist of seven levels.

The Stober Group tower is expected to be completed in the spring of 2022, and it will feature 225,000 square feet of commercial space along with restaurants, a fitness facility and a seventh-floor conference centre.

The Landmark District’s six office buildings already house more than 200 businesses that employ approximately 3,500 people.

“While there is likely to be some pull-back in overall office demand as more people work from home, leading technology companies are trying to figure out not so much what they should do with their offices, but how their offices can help them find and keep talent,” Stober Group chief operating officer Dave McAnerney said in a press release. “We believe Kelowna is the kind of community that can attract leading companies.”
