The BC Interior Community Foundation wants to remind non-profit organizations they have until next Thursday to submit their applications for fall grants.

The group’s Community Project Grants support community-based programs in the areas of arts and culture, health and welfare, sports and recreation, and other charitable events.

Grants are available for organizations in the Thompson, Nicola and South Cariboo region, and within the communities of Lillooet, Lytton, Clinton, 70 Mile House, Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Kamloops, Clearwater, Barriere, Chase, Logan Lake and Merritt.

The grants are awarded twice per year. Groups submitting applications should know that the process takes between four and six weeks, so they need to ensure that their projects are taking place after that time frame.

All groups will hear from the foundation about the results of their applications.

More information about the Community Project Grants can be found here.
