BC Federation of Labour is attempting to create a groundswell of support for working people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The organization has started a support campaign in an effort to create paid sick leave for everyone, tougher workplace safety rules, better support for injured workers and a living wage as the province recovers from the pandemic shutdown earlier this year.

“This moment can be more than just a recovery,” the organization said in a press release.”This is an opportunity for new, long-overdue public investment in skills training, infrastructure and good, sustainable jobs for local people in communities across B.C. We can’t afford to let it pass us by.”

BC Federation of Labour is asking B.C. citizens to add their name to its Future For All campaign, which can be done here.
