Downtown Kelowna Association, Tourism Kelowna and FortisBC have all teamed up to make life just a little bit safer for those visiting the Central Okanagan’s largest city.

The groups have unveiled community safe travel tips and hand sanitizer stations in four public locations. The stations will highlight 10 safe travel tips and free sanitizer at the following locations: Queensway bus loop, Sails statue, Kelowna Visitor Centre and Orchard Park Shopping Centre.

“Safety is core to everything we do, and we’re proud to invest in initiatives that create safer, healthier communities,” FortisBC community and indigenous relations manager Breannen Dick said in a press release. “Having these stations in place will make exploring Kelowna that much safer for all to enjoy. We appreciate the partners that made this possible.”
