Central Mountain Air has announced new flights from Calgary to Kelowna, as well as Vancouver to Kamloops.

They will run from Aug. 9 to Sept. 13.

Flights are once a week on Monday mornings, from Calgary to Kelowna and from Vancouver to Kamloops – and back Friday evenings, from Kelowna to Calgary and Kamloops to Vancouver.

“These new flights will add great flexibility to our customers flexibility for weekend trips, and allow for great connectivity to Prince George, Fort St John or Terrance,” said Bob Cummings, CEO of Central Mountain Air.

Flights are competitively priced, with Calgary to Kelowna at $120 all-in and Vancouver to Kamloops $188, with similar fares on the Friday evening return flights.

The airline said the success of the flights will determine whether they will continue after the limited time period.
