The winery that bills itself as the most family friendly one in the Okanagan has reopened after making some changes to its operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Covert Farms, which is located near Oliver, launched new tours and kid-approved adventures this week while prioritizing the safety, comfort and well-being of its patrons.

“We are so excited to provide B.C. residents with an opportunity to kick back, relax and enjoy the best of the Okanagan with our brand-new tours and tastings, which are perfect for families to enjoy together,” co-owner Shelly Covert said in a press release. “We’re confident that first-time and repeat visitors alike will find these tours educational and appealing, and we have instituted strict safety protocols to ensure every guest feels safe and comfortable.”

The winery is offering private tours for the serious win enthusiast, another one for kids and for those who want to enjoy freshly picked strawberries and wine grapes.

There is also a “kid-approved tasting” tour during which youngsters will get to sample two handcrafted juices made by Harker’s Organics.
