A sign showing plans to develop housing at Pineridge Golf Course has been erected in Kamloops’ Dallas neighbourhood.
The sign, put up by the city, states a zoning amendment has been proposed to allow multiple residential units and open space. The proposed rezoning of one section of the area would allow for a strata subdivision.
The map on the sign shows a road running through the proposed subdivisions.
The sign also states a public hearing will be held on the project. It first needs to go to council, which sends decisions like this to public hearings before voting on them. The next council meeting is scheduled for July 14.
The land is currently occupied by Pineridge Golf Course.
