An electric vehicle charging station company has moved into the Kelowna market.
ChargerQuest, which bills itself as Canada’s leader in deploying smart electric vehicle charging stations, has installed four of them at Hotel Eldorado and Manteo Resort.
“We are excited to partner with Hotel Eldorado and Manteo Resort by adding electric vehicle charging stations as an amenity for guests,” ChargerQuest CEO Christopher Misch said in a press release. “Now tourists, business travellers and visitors coming to Kelowna have the ideal pace to stay overnight and re-energize their vehicles.”
ChargerQuest said it plans to install up to 50 more charging stations across British Columbia over the next year and a half.
“Adding EV charging as an amenity for our guests is a step in the right direction, doing our part to promote environmentally friendly travel,” Eldorado Resort general manager Brent Lavery said.
