The Kelowna-based Women’s Enterprise Centre will be conducting a pair of free webinars next week for female entrepreneurs.

The first one, which will be held on Tuesday, is called Strength in Numbers: Back to Business. It will focus on reopening businesses in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the steps that need to be taken when restarting your business.

Some of the topics will include what the new normal looks like, following provincial guidelines, listening to customers and navigating federal funding programs. WEC loans and advisory services director Melanie Rupp will serve as the panelist.

The webinar will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Participants can register here.

The second WEC webinar next week, called Growth Opportunities for Indigenous Business: Selling to the Government, will take place on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.

Indigenous Services Canada senior program officer Dolores Coelho will lead the discussion about the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business program. It will examine the program and eligibility requirements, how it could help your business grow and tools to strengthen your bid.

Register for the webinar here.
