Vernon WorkBC is ready to help those who are looking for a job.

The group is offering its services virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the first step is to create a WorkBC account. Once that is complete, you will be able to access all of its services.

“If you’re in the hospitality or service industry and your employer has or is closing their doors because of the impacts of the COVID-19 health crisis, even if you think you might go back when the doors reopen, engaging WorkBC now has several benefits,” the organization said in a press release.

“As opportunities become available, you’ll be among the first to hear. You can hit the ground running with strong interview skills, resumés and more as a new job market arises.”

Vernon WorkBC offers webinar workshops on a variety of topics, from resume and interview skills to job search strategies. It also provides case managers and employment counsellors, who are available over the phone or through video communication. Job search resources will also be available online.
