Spaces Innovation and You Are Collective are teaming up to host a free mental health discussion tonight in downtown Kelowna.

The two groups will host Safe Spaces Volume 2 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Spaces Innovation, which is located in Room 106 at downtown Kelowna’s Innovation Centre.

Michael Nolan, Rachel Udy and Rebecca Steinhubl will introduce the night and then hand the mic off to the audience. Those in attendance can choose to share about mental health and illness for five minutes, and they are encouraged to be as creative as they want.

New to this year’s event will be five minutes for questions and answers after each person shares their story, experiences, ideas, resources and anything else they choose.

Local comedian Paige Mathison will close out the evening with a performance at 6:45 p.m.
