Off The Grid Winery celebrates its Sustainable Green Business Award.

Quails’ Gate Winery has been deemed West Kelowna’s best business.

The winery was the big winner when the Greater Westside Board of Trade held its Key Business Awards Gala last week at 19 Okanagan Grill + Bar at Two Eagles Golf Course. Quails’ Gate was named the best large business, and it won the overall title as well.

The best business award was one of 11 handed out during the ceremony, which also featured the presentation of the Geoffrey Paynter Citizen of The Year honour to long-time community advocate Marjolein Lloyd.

“Marjolein has given, through Rotary and personally, a lot to the Greater Westside community, and globally she has multiplied the charitable effects of volunteering by actively leading, educating and inspiring others to do the same,” Greater Westside president Craig Garries said in a press release.
