A Kelowna company has been named one of Canada’s best growing businesses.
Faction Projects Inc. landed at No. 154 on the annual Growth 500 list, which ranks the country’s 500 fastest growing companies. It is published by Canadian Business and Maclean’s magazine.
“Faction Projects Inc. is honoured to be on the Growth 500 ranking,” Faction’s design and operations director Tim McLennan said in a press release. “This achievement reflects the focus of our team and our unique service offering in our industry.”
Faction cracked the list based on its five-year revenue growth of 587 per cent. It is located on Lakeshore Drive and focuses on development management, architecture and construction. It won a Kelowna Chamber of Commerce business excellence award, along with two Thompson Okanagan Kootenay Commercial Building Awards, in 2018.
“The companies on the 2019 Growth 500 are truly remarkable,” Growth 500 program manager Beth Fraser said. “Demonstrating foresight, innovation and smart management, their stories serve as a primer for how to build a successful entrepreneurial business today. As we celebrate over 30 years of the Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies program, it’s encouraging to see that entrepreneurship is healthier than ever in this country.”
